博士，正高级工程师，博士生导师。中国联通广东省分公司政企BG高级副总裁、智算事业部总经理、科创委主任委员，中国联通云计算首席专家。IEEE PES电力系统通信与网络安全技术委员会（中国）电碳算协同技术分委会副主席、数字广东建设专家委员会专家。
研究方向涉及云计算、智算、算力网络及数据中心等领域。近年来发表人工智能/算力领域SCI论文6篇、专著1部、授权发明专利30余项，获得省部级科技奖5次，参与国家标准2项、国家重点研发计划1项。
Wei Cheng, received the Bachelor degree from Nanjing University and the Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University, respectively. He is currently a GM of Intelligent Computing Power Business Division in China Unicom Guangdong Branch, the vice chairman of Electricity-Carbon-Computing Coordination Communication Subcommittee in IEEE PES China Satellite Technical Committee – Power System Communications and Cybersecurity, and the member of the Digital Guangdong Construction Expert Committee.
His major research interests include Cloud Computing, Intelligent Computing, Computing Power Network, and IDC. He has been authorized with over 30 national patents, and he has won the provincial and ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards 5 times.He has published over 10 academic papers on refereed journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Networking, IEEE Internet of Things Journal and IEEE International Conference on Data Mining.
